Beyonce came out tops at the Soul Train Awards 2016. The 35-year-old walked away with four wins in several of the top categories, including Album/Mixtape of the Year and Best R&B Soul Female Artist.
The second highest winner(s) of the night was Fat Joe, Remy Ma and French Montana for their collaboration on the song, All the Way Up.

During her Superbowl halftime performance, the former Destiny’s Child member gathered a slew of female dancer, dressed in Black Panther attire, to perform her single, Formation.

Two of her awards received Sunday night were in honour of that song: Video of The Year and Song of the Year.

Other big wins included Fat Joe, Remy Ma and French Montana for their collaboration on the song, All the Way Up, which nabbed them two awards: one for the Rhythm & Bars Award (Formerly Best Hip-Hop Song of the Year) and the other for Best Collaboration.
Gospel singer Kirk Franklin took home the Best Gospel/Inspirational Song for his tune, 123 Victory.
Meanwhile, Chance the Rapper was named Best New Artist.
